Hi dear students! My name is Benoit, I am 45 and I was born in France. I have been teaching French for more than 15 years now. I taught French in the European Institutions in Brussels, in universities and "Alliance Française" in Mexico, where I have lived for the past thirteen years. I have always wanted to teach in a pleasant way and give interesting classes, so I started to use a lot of game in my courses (some I bought and turned into pedagogical tools, others I built myself). Students love to play and learn. I enjoy it too. Although it is not really possible to use games in an online class with videos, I tried to conceive attractive lessons with varied supports like cartoon animations, Powerpoint slides, talking-head videos and audio exercises.   • What level do I need to start this course?

    This is an A2.3 level course. (It follows a series of two other courses which are A2.1 and A2.2 levels.) So, if you already have an A2 level and want to improve your French, this course is for you.

  • When does the course start and finish?

    You’ll get access to your first lesson as soon as you sign up. Then, you can go through the lessons at your own pace and take as long as you need to complete the program.

  • Does the course include live classes?

    No, it doesn’t. The lessons are recorded. But you can send me a personal message if you have any doubt about a lesson and I will be pleased to answer you as soon as I can.

  • In what language is the course?

    The videos of the course are in French (with a few words in English here and there). The immersion method has been proven to be the best to improve your oral comprehension and your use of the language. There are a few translation lessons (English – French), some quizzes in English, and some documents with a few sentences in English.
